DSL is generally recommended for up to five connected devices, like laptops, tablets or cell phones, although the number of devices you can connect will ultimately depend on the maximum speed available at your address. All DSL plans have a $125 installation fee.
Fiber 300 or 500
EIN fiber plans with speeds up to 500 Mbps are perfect for all online activities. The key difference is the ability to connect multiple devices simultaneously without encountering any Wi-Fi buffering or interruptions. For households connecting fewer than 15 devices, a 300 Mbps plan should suffice, while a 500 Mbps plan would be more suitable for homes with over 15 devices. EIN fiber plans have a $50 installation fee but no cost for equipment.
Fiber 1000
EIN multi-gig plans are available at 1, 2 or 5 GB; however, the 2 and 5 GB plans are less accessible. The EIN Fiber 1000 plan is widely available and is ideal for homes with higher internet usage and 20 or more connected devices. Gaming consoles, video streaming, uploading large files, remote work and other bandwidth-heavy applications are the types of online activities that work better with a 1 GB internet plan.
