Ziply Fiber’s internet service scores 4 out of 5 stars in our review thanks to its premium speeds and affordable starting prices. Other Ziply benefits include no contracts or data limits and free installation for several speed tiers. Ziply also has equal upload and download speeds for its fiber internet, making it a great connection for virtually any online task.
However, limited availability, along with rates and installation fees for the fastest speeds, can be restrictive. Ziply equipment costs are $12/mo., but you do have the option to buy your own router and skip the monthly fee. Like many providers, Ziply has a 30-day money-back guarantee for new subscribers.

Each provider was rated on a scale of 1 to 5 based on over a dozen factors, including speed, cost, availability, fees, customer satisfaction, connection type and more. We also used data from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to compare the average speed offered by internet companies in the U.S. to set a baseline for what is considered a good internet speed. Additionally, we analyzed data from the American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI) to understand how each internet service provider (ISP) fares in customer service and perceived value.

Ziply Fiber 1, 2 and 5 Gig – Perfect for intensive internet users
Who fits this plan? We recommend Ziply Fiber’s 1, 2 and 5 Gig internet plans for highly-connected homes with multiple devices consistently in use. Activities such as streaming and video conferencing are perfect for these fast internet plans with speeds of 1 GB and above.
Additionally, these Ziply plans remain affordable at $60, $70 and $120/mo. Prices for the 1 and 2 Gig are guaranteed for 12 months before increasing to their standard rate, currently $85 and $90/mo., respectively, while the 5 GB plan is not listed as an introductory rate with a scheduled price increase.
Ziply Fiber 10 and 50 Gig – Best for smart-home enthusiasts and gadget-heavy households
Frankly, most homes do not need 10 or 50 GB internet, equivalent to 10,000 and 50,000 Mbps. Even most small business internet does not require these super-fast speeds. Yet, tech-intensive homes may appreciate these speed options that can support simultaneous online activities.
